   i've also heard some very happy things about speakeasy.net.

   i went with telocity (now directv!) and... well... the terms of
service were quite decent: static IP, they /encourage/ email servers,
no cancelation fee, pay month by month, relatively inexpensive, so on.
but there were occasional network outages... once a week or so, for
anywhere from two minutes to three hours.  they sent me an email
apologizing and saying that they were in the middle of network
infrastructure upgrades, or something of that nature...  they weren't
ideal, but they were inexpensive and good enough.  i wouldn't have
canceled were it not for the fact that i was moving.
